What's For Dinner?
Most nights Larry works late and usually doesn't want dinner, so I never know whether to cook or not. It always seems that when I don't cook, he's starving and when I do cook he doesn't eat. Hmmmm, I wonder if he's trying to tell me something? Last night I made a pot of Spanish rice, which of course he didn't eat. He said he had a big lunch out yesterday. No problem, we'll have it again tonight, so I know I'm off the hook for coming up with a dinner idea. The other night I tried a recipe that I got from my neighbor. It was so easy, you saute onions till soft add some chopped kielbasa (which I don't like at all) fry that up till it gets nice and brown and then add chopped cabbage. Meanwhile boil up some pierogies (I used Mrs. T's mini rogies). Drain and add to the cabbage. Top with cheese and put a lid on it till it melts. That's it. I guess you could call it a variation of Haluski! Larry loved it, he said "now that's a good polish meal!" I guess I don't do alot of polish meals, since I'm Italian. Maybe I'll have to get on my "thinking babushka" and try to come up with some other polish dinner ideas.

When Jessica comes home her favorite meal is a Polish dinner. Lots of work, lots of fat, lost of gas afterwords...LOL Great for a couple of times a year other than holidays that is.
Now Aaron is my Italian boy. He loves stuffed shells or lasagna.
Nate is my little turkey. Thanksgiving dinner is his fav of all! He will eat both drum sticks so I always have to have extra.
Hope you enjoy your weekend!
Your "thinking babushka"! LOL
I think Larry and Paul belong to the same *No dinner their starving; cook dinner they aren't hungry* Club. ~men.....
Have you decided what's for dinner yet? hmmmmmm
Okay, let me help you out here. The calendar says you should be getting ready to prepare turkey, stuffing/dressing, mashed potatoes, yams, green beans, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie. Plus your family favorites of course ;-)
Just sayin'...
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.
xoxo
