Personal - Homeward Bound

Today is the day that we take Aunt Jennie to the personal care home. We found a really nice one, believe it or not. We think that once she gets used to her surroundings that she'll like it there. It's very bright and looks more homey than any place we've seen. We are keeping our fingers crossed for a smooth transition!!

Don't have much time today. I just got back from working a couple of hours this morning. Now it's payroll time and then off to the home. Hope everyone has a great day!

Here's praying for a smooth transition. My parents actually just went through this with my aunt. Finding a good home seems to be the biggest hurdle you've done that. My aunt is LOVING it where she is. She is wheelchair-bound but she is going bowling and going to Bible studies and is more active now than she has been in years. Homes are not always bad things. There are many facilities that are staffed with wonderful people who give wonderful care.

Love ya! See ya soon!

Just wanted you to know that your Aunt is one lucky lady to have you on her side helping her with this transition. Kim is right about finding the right home. Women are way easier to transition than men are. If that helps any.

Oh! and... YES it IS Friday!
