I"m Baaaack!

Alright already, I guess I'd better post something new. I think the natives are getting restless! I'm sorry I haven't been very attentive lately. I'm getting really busy again. It seems that when the weather changed for the better, golfers came out of the woodwork. I think this has been one of the busiest Aprils that I can remember. Things haven't been running exactly smoothly either. I think I mentioned about the cooler not working earlier. Well that's not the only thing that went "kaput" over the winter. Actually 3 of our coolers were down at one time or another. My ice machine has bitten the dust. We've been sinking too much money into the darn thing, so the next step is to start looking for a new one. I priced one the other day and it runs over $1,700.00 without tax and shipping, and that's for a small one! You still have to pay for freight even if you pick it up from where ever you buy it, they won't eat the shipping costs!..... YIKES, that's just not in the budget at this point. Then to top it all off, I went to start up the fryer the other day and guess what..............yup, another one bites the dust. Grrrrrrrr! :~( I don't know what we're going to do about that right now. It's early in the season, so I'm kicking around the idea of foregoing fried foods altogether. (sorry Katie) For one thing it would lower our insurance cost (not to mention our cholesterol) and it would be less work for me (which of course is always a good thing)! Well, that's enough grumbling.

Tomorrow friends of ours are holding their daughters "sweet 16" at the clubhouse. It's hard to believe that she's already 16. When we met she was just a little wee thing. And Sunday is my father-in-laws birthday. He's going to be 82. You'd never know it to see him! He's the youngest 82 year old man I've ever seen. We're all going out to celebrate Sunday evening. There will be about 13 of us. I'm looking forward to it. Especially since our nephew's baby will be there! Speaking of babies, Megan is starting to show a little bit. You could barely tell she was expecting and the overnight a little belly popped out. She's so cute.......I can't wait to be a Grammy :~) !!!

Love to my Golden Girls........Patti, can't wait till you get Romeo and you post some pics........Kellie, I got your thankyou card today - how did you know I LOVE Snoopy?????..........Kim, have a good weekend visiting your family, and tell your Mom I said "LET'S GO PENS!!!!!........And Sandi, I MISS you!!!

Okay, that's all for now. Another busy day again tomorrow, and the day after that, and the day after that, and so on, and so on....................

I can't believe it.....I had a dog named Snoopy too!!!
I also had a rubber Snoopy soap dish from Avon. It was my prize posession when I was a kid. I think I passed my love of Snoopy on to my daughter. She loves him too!!
