Happy Birthday Paige!

Yep, Paige is 1 year old today. I don't know where the time went! All I know is that it flew so fast. Her party was this afternoon at a nearby park. We were sweating having it outside since the weather has been so crappy lately. But we were blessed with a beautiful fall day (if a little windy). Things were blowing everywhere. It was a great party. Megan and her mom made hot sausage, and we had chili and pasta salad and potato salad and chicken, all very good. Oh, and I almost forgot, Paiges favorite food; macaroni and cheese. The decorations were cupcake themed and I made a tiered cupcake cake that didn't turn out as well as I'd hoped, but what the heck, it tasted good and I guess that's all that matters! We just got home a little while ago and washed and put everything away (the worst part of any party!). I'm going to head down to Michael and Megan's now and give Paige her present. We didn't want to haul it over and have to bring it back with all the other stuff.
Well, I'm off for a little grandbaby lovin'!
