And forever to go. I'm trying to look at this WW thing as a lifestyle and not a quick fix, but to be honest, I think it's going to be a little tougher than I thought. My first week went pretty well. I ate within my point range and some days under, which you don't want to do because it will slow your metabolism. But I think the old diet habits are deeply ingrained in my head. I have to learn that it's ok to eat something that I think is taboo and not feel like I blew it. That's what they are trying to teach at WW. Hopefully I can get my brain around that. I did lose 3.2 pounds my first week, so I'm off to a good start. I know that you always lose more the first week or two and then you'll start to average around 1 or 2 pounds a week which is what they want you to do. The exercising part of this plan has hit a little bit of a downslide. Sandi and I sometimes can't make it up to John's the way this weather has been around here and I haven't been too consistent at home. But I'm not going to beat myself up over it. I'll just have to get my butt in gear and start moving!
Sunday was Megan's birthday and we all went out to dinner. Jeanine and Chris came home and we headed out to Greensburg to the Texas Roadhouse. It was really crowded. I didn't think it would be that busy. Maybe it was because we went right after church. Megan and Michael took Paige to church for the first time on Sunday and she was sooooo good. I on the other hand didn't pay a whole lot of attention to anything but the baby. The kids sat in front of me and I couldn't keep my eyes off of Paige. She just smiled and cooed and made me giggle. She was the hit of the day. Everyone wanted to see her after the service, so we were almost the last ones to leave. She did really good at the restaurant too. She slept in her car seat the whole time we ate and the whole way home. She didn't wake up until we got in the house and took her out of the car seat and she woke up smiling. Oh, what a cutie!!
Well, I better get moving. I've got to finish my quarterly reports and get them in the mail today. Then I think I'll clean a little. My house is getting away from me again.................did I ever tell you that I hate to clean..............
