Two Men And A Cat

Alright already, I guess it has been a while since you last heard from me. Maybe my New Year resolution should be to be a better blogger. Hmmmmm I'll think about it.

So Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everybody. Hope you all had a great holiday. We had a wonderful Christmas. It was very busy at first, but then I kind of hit the wall as the saying goes. I vegged out for a while just relaxing and reading. I haven't really read for such a long time. I'm enjoying it immensely. The only problem is that I still feel guilty spending the day with a good book, no matter how busy I had been before I got lazy, the little guilt monster still gets to me. I started reading the Twilight series. For those of you who don't know about it (which I didn't until my neice Gina told me about it) it's about a vampire and a human love affair. I can't put it down. I started the last book in the series, which has over 700 pages, late Friday and I'll be done with it today. Unless I torture myself and drag it out for a bit. It's written for teenagers, so I'm not sure if that makes me immature or if I just have a 9th grade reading level! BTW, did I mention I'm 47????

Sandi and I have been trying really hard (kinda hard) to keep up with some kind of exercise routine. We were doing good with John and then life and the holidays got in the way. We are to start with John again on Tuesday. I'm looking forward to it. Yeah, that's it, that's the ticket, I'm looking forward to it. If I just keep repeating it over and over again, maybe I'll start believing it!!! We have been walking as much as we can. Since it has been muzzleloader season for the last 3 weeks, we've been walking where the only hunters allowed are handicapped. There is a sign that is posted where the hunters have to put a flag up to show that they are there. There hasn't been anyone hunting there at all, which is good for us. Yesterday we had a little snow on the ground so while we were walking we noticed all the little animal tracks and were identifying them, when out of nowhere we come upon the tracks of two men. We don't know where they started, but we continued on our trail which the two men had apparantly decided to go as well. Then we see little tracks that looked like a small cat. The kitty tracks caught up with the man tracks, hence the above title. Those tracks continued until the cat must have decided she had had enough of human company and took another trail. Sandi and I found it hilarious, as only we would. We have now decided that we are expert trackers! I don't know if anyone else would think that, but we think we are and that's all that counts!

My granddoggy Dixie just came in and since I haven't seen her for a while, I'm going to go get me some doggie love!

Take care and have a great day!!
