Duck - Duck - Goose

So yesterday, Sandi and I had gone up to Indiana for our workout with John. We get there and go straight to the bikes for our warm up. We don't see John anywhere and I just assume he's busy with someone else. Turns out that he had been to DC the night before for the Steeler game. He didn't get home till Tues. afternoon and laid down for a little nap and didn't wake up until Sandi called him to see where he was. No problem for us though. Sandi and I continued our workout and did rather well. I do have to admit that if we weren't there together, I probably would have just done the bikes and gone home. I don't know what it is, but I always feel awkward when working out at a gym where people can see you...........I don't like to look stupid, and I always assume that people are thinking that I look stupid and don't know what I'm doing. But with Sandi there, we can look stupid together! ;0)

Larry had asked me earlier if I would pick up Papa John's pizza on my way home for supper. No problem there, anytime I don't have to cook is always a good thing. The only problem is that I had ordered it to be ready for 5:30 and Sandi and I were done earlier than expected at the gym. We were sitting in the parking lot of the pizza place talking, when we noticed a bunch of geese flying overhead. There were like 3 or 4 different groups in their v-formation and we were watching them when all of a sudden one little lone goose just decides to leave the formation and fly away. At first I thougt he was just going to do a little loop and rejoin the group, but he did a complete u turn and started going in the opposite direction. We started laughing and then I remembered how bad I felt when we had geese at our pond and you could always tell which one was the odd bird out. The others would always pick on it and it would be clear on the other side of the pond. Everytime it would try to join the group, the dominant geese would always chase it away. So I thought that's what was happening to this goose. So there I was feeling bad for a stupid goose with no friends (silly I know). When all of a sudden we see out of nowhere, 2 geese flying over our car from the direction that the lone goose went. We busted out laughing thinking that the male goose had to go back for his wife who is always running late. He threatened he was going to leave without her, and then he had second thoughts and figured he'd better go get her or he'd be in BIG trouble!! We felt so much better that he wasn't all alone in the world.

Not much planned for today. I'm gonna take a walk with Sandi and Judy this morning and then I'll be busy in the office for a while. Then I think I'll just have to cuddle my little Paige for a little bit (or a lotta bit) and figure out what to make for supper.

Love to the G.G.'s hope everyone is doing well. Kellie, I'll be praying that Nate does well during his hyperbaric treatment and that he has even better results than the last time.
Take Care everybody!!!

I wish I was there to look stupid with you too!
I'm glad the goose story had a happy ending. I was beginning to wonder if he thought the sky was bluer on the other side.
Pinch the baby for me.
