Busy Doing Nothin'

That's the way my life has seemed lately. Between doctors appt.s for me and Megan and Paige, we've been kept busy. There were some fun days in there too, not just appointments. Megan and I decided last week to go go Smicksburg. We had a really nice day weatherwise. We stopped at a few shops and Megan got a wreath for her fireplace. It's really neat. It's made from a wagon wheel. It will fit in to her log cabin house perfectly. I of course bought fudge! I was a little disappointed that a couple of my favorite stores have gone out of business. A sign of the times I suppose.

Last Saturday Larry and I went to friends of ours for a little campfire party. It was really fun. We got to see people we haven't seen for a while and relax around the fire and talk and eat. While we were there I mentioned about going to Smicksburg and how we wanted to go to some of the shops in Ligonier. My neice lives close to Ligonier and she said that she had Friday of this week off. So we made tentative plans on going depending on the weather. Megan didn't want to take Paige out if it was raining. The day was perfect. The temps were in the mid 60's and sunny. Jeanine also had Friday off so she and Allie and Megan and Paige and myself all went for the day. The girls all bought some nice things for their houses. I was proud of myself. I didn't buy fudge this time...................I bought a sampler of truffles :0) Yummy! I think I see a pattern of candy abuse, I probably out to do something about this habit of mine!

That's about it. I really need to buckle down and get some work done. My house is being neglected. I seem to get enough cleaning done to make it look good, but I know there is hidden dirt that needs my undivided attention. Not to mention drawers and closets. I am definetly going to have to go through our old clothes and donate them to Goodwill. I am getting rid of things that we haven't been wearing, but still put back in the closet. Gotta go, I'm off to grocery shop and come home and make a pot of Wedding soup. Have a great day everyone!!!

Do they sell Smickers Bars in Smicksburg? Sorry, couldn't resist with the candy abuse.
