Headache Saga Continues.............

Sandi called me early this morning to say that she STILL had that headache. It seems that she got another light show yesterday and the headache and nausea came back with a vengence. (not that it ever went completely away) I've had many a migraine but never one that lasted so many days. We both thought that it was time that she called her dr. She had to wait until 9:00 till they opened. I made her promise that she'd call. If she didn't, I was going to make the appt. for her. She called me back to say that the appt. was for 2:15. Katie drove her over. They said that it was most likely hormonal and they gave her a shot for the pain. I don't know what the medicine was, but Boy-Oh-Boy was that girl flying!!!! She called me a couple of times and she was really out of it. She also called my MIL. She doesn't remember calling my MIL but she did. She also doesn't remember calling Bill 4 times between the time she left the office and the time it took to get to McDonalds which is only a couple of miles up the road. Katie really had her hands full.
The first time Sandi called me, I was rocking the baby and didn't get to the phone in time. The second time I got a call from her, it was actually Katie who made the call. She said that her mother wanted to talk to me but she wasn't responsible for any thing she said or did! Sandi got on the phone and tried to hold a conversation with me. I remember lots of laughing and something about how she missed out in high school!!. Katie takes the phone off of Sandi and tells me that she was going to try to get her to bed. Not a minute later, Sandi herself calls me. She apparantly forgot that she had just called.

Here's how the conversation went:

Me: Hello

Sandi: Hi Christina. I just wanted to let you know how my appt. went. (kind of weird giggly voice)

Me: Yeah Sandi, you just called me a minute ago to tell me about it.

Sandi: No I didn't.

Me: Yes you did.

Sandi: No I didn't!.......Katie did I just call Christina (yelling accross the room)

Katie: (from accross the room) Yes you did. You just hung up with her a minute ago!

Sandi: Oh, alright. Then I'm gonna call Bill to let him know.

Me: You already called Bill 4 times. Katie told me.

Sandi: No I didn't. I didn't even have my cell phone on me.

Now, when I checked my missed call before, it was from Sandi's cell phone which would have been right around the time that she was getting done with her appt.

Me: (you've got to know that I like to egg Sandi on, especially when she's high on prescribed drugs) Yes you did. You called me from your cell the first time you called.

Sandi: Did I call you before??? Katie (yelling across the room again) Did I have my cell phone on me?

Katie: (something undistinguishable from across the room again)

Sandi: Katie.......I told you I had my phone!

In the meantime, I'm cracking up as I hear Katie take the phone off of her mother and she then tells me that she's going to hide the phones and really get her mom in bed this time to sleep it off!!!
I told her to let me know if she needed any help.

I haven't heard anything since, so I'm assuming Sandi finally did as she was told and went off to dreamland.....................I can hardly wait for tomorrow! ;~}
