Spa day

Sandi was telling me that on your first post you should actually introduce yourself a little. Well I just jumped right in with my crochet and groin story. It was so fresh in my mind that I couldn't help myself. So for those of you who don't know, you can call me Chris or Christina, whichever you prefer. I'm married to Larry who has put up with me for the last 27 years (in marriage) and a couple before that! If they gave out sainthoods for men who have wives like me, he'd be first in line! I have two GREAT kids, Jeanine and Michael. They are both married and out of the house. So Larry and I have a little bit of the empty nest syndrome going on here. But it's not that bad actually. Michael and his wife Megan live close to us and we see them almost everyday. I also get to see my grandpuppy Dixie everyday too. I am the puppy day care while they are at work.
Jeanine and her husband Chris live in Pgh. They recently bought a house and also have a new golden retriever puppy named Murray. He is only about seven months old and already weighs over 70 pounds! Yikes! O.K. That's enough background stuff for now.

So about the title. Yesterday Megan and I went to Jakay's Day Spa for massages. If you've never had one I highly recommend it. Ours were for an hour and that had to be the fastest hour of my life. It was Megan's first time and I think she's addicted already. They set the mood just right for relaxation. They play soft music and dim the lights and you can almost feel yourself melting into the table while they work on you. Just thinking about it makes me want to call for another appt. Too bad I'm not rich, I'd have my own masseuse on call 24/7.

Well, I guess that's it for now. Gotta go to Curves to get my 3 times in for the week. Sandi can't come with me 'cause she's working and also feels like crap today, so it won't be as much fun. You better get better for our date with Kim on Monday girl!! I can't wait!!
