Well, I survived the cold I had. It only lasted a week and wasn't too bad. I got better just in time for Paige's party. She had a great time and got a lot of clothes and toys. Probably too many for a two year old, but what the heck, gotta spoil our little ones a little bit. Megan had it at their house. She ordered pizza, and some of us brought dips. I made a buffalo chicken dip, Sandi made a chilli dip, Jeanine made a hummus dip and a pumpkin dip that you dip ginger snaps in, that has to be my favorite! For Jeanine's bridal shower, my SIL Cathy made that dip and we served it in little carved out pumpkins with ginger snaps, graham cracker sticks and vanilla wafers. We used them as centerpieces for the tables. They were a big hit!
Nolan was at the party, but I didn't get to see much of him because the rest of the family hogged him the whole time! Oh well, I guess that's only natural. They don't get to see him as much as I do so I had to be nice and share. Next week when I go visit him though, he's all MINE! :)
Sandi and I are going back to the apple orchard again this morning. I'm going to get Jeanine some Honeycrisp apples since she hasn't been able to find any. The ones I got the other day are really, really good. I also bought some for baking and yesterday, my brother dropped off a bag of apples he had picked up for me. So I guess apple pies are on my agenda again today. I'll bake one for my brother, one for Allison and Geoff (I'm going to visit my new neice Sydney either today or tomorrow) and maybe I'll even bake one for us, not that I need to eat anymore sweets. I'm a little sweeted out after all the b-day cake we had leftover from Paige's party. I guess I'd better get off this computer and get a move on if I'm going to get anything accomplished today.
Have a good one!

Make some home made applesauce with the honeycrisp apples! They are my absolute fav kind but burns me that they are always more $$ than the others. I haven't made apple butter in a few years maybe that will be for this weekend?
I just found out that we got the very last of the honeycrisp apples. We lucked out the other day. No more till next year. I bought Macoun. They are a little soft but have a great flavor.
Pink Lady is good as well as Mushu. I think I spelled it right. LOL Happy Baking <3
I'm glad you are feeling better.
What's in the pumpkin dip?
I just can't seem to get enough pumpkin these days!
I made some great pumpkin muffins yesterday.
Maybe I need to make pumpkin pancakes for breakfast...
